"The Archie Show" first debuted on CBS in September 1968, and Archie Andrews and his pals appeared in various spin-off shows on Saturday mornings until 1978. "The Archie Show" was the first in a long line of Saturday morning cartoon animated series produced by Filmation and based upon Bob Montana's Archie characters.
